Providers

The Stanford-Washington Eating Disorder (SWED) Youth Screener is a brief, evidence-based tool designed for providers to assess eating disorder risk in youth ages 7–17. Taking only about 5 minutes to complete, it evaluates weight and shape concerns, frequency of disordered eating and compensatory behaviors, and the extent to which these issues interfere with daily life. Providers receive immediate email results outlining the patient’s risk level—supporting early identification and intervention for disordered eating behaviors.
