Substance Awareness Traffic Offender Program (SATOP)

SATOP serves those who are required to complete the program as a result of an administrative suspension or revocation of one’s driver license due to a Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) or Driving Under the Influence (DUI) offense, court order, condition of probation, or plea bargain. SATOP is also required of individuals charged with minor in possession and zero tolerance offenses.

Adults can access community-based programs that offer a variety of services for treatment and assist in achieving and maintaining recovery from substance(s). Detoxification and residential support services are offered to provide a safe, substance-free environment early in the treatment process.

Women and Children SUD Treatment Programs

Women (pregnant or with children) can access community-based programs that are specifically for women. There are residential services where women can bring their young children with them. Women who are pregnant, have a newborn, or have children living with them have first priority.

Adolescent SUD Treatment Programs

Treatment programs to help adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 who struggle with substance use. Minors can be signed into a program by their parent or guardians.

Opioid (Methadone) Treatment Programs

Opioid Dependence specialty treatment programs offer medically-supervised withdrawal from heroin and other opiate drugs, followed by ongoing treatment and rehabilitation for addiction. Priority admission is given to women who are pregnant and persons who are HIV positive.

Outpatient treatment services are available for those experiencing problems with compulsive gambling.

Consumer-Operated Services Programs (COSPs)

COSPs are peer-run programs that are controlled and operated by individuals with lived experience with mental illness. Anyone with a mental illness diagnosis, or who is or has experienced symptoms of a mental illness, is welcome to participate free of charge.
